Children from the 7th Kindergarten of Mitilene helped the animals, working with the teachers in a project hopefully for a brighter future for our four legged friends.

Sterilization of the Animals during October 2000.
A vet from Scotland came over to Molyvos as a volunteer in order to carry out sterilization of the animals, a total of 65 cats were treated during the week and two dogs also.
So thanks to Victoria Grillo, 'Tiggy' for all of her hard work and kindness, after this 'Tiggy' went to the Greek mainland to help with more animals.
Tiggy is now carrying out research at The University of Glasgow, hope all is well 'Tiggy' and thanks so very much for everything.
Thanks also to all of the volunteers who helped with the cleaning,shaving and general maintenance work, Vasso for all of the organising , to Dionesis (the master catcher!) who stood out from everyone...and without whose help and hospitality this would not have been possible. Thankyou ...

The society arranged for all of the vaccinations and medical procedures so that the little ones could fly with their new owners to their new life in Cologne ...
